Understand where your information goes when you use Art of Resume.
Private resume analysis
The analysis page reads PDF, DOCX, TXT, and pasted resume text in your browser. That diagnostic does not upload your resume or save its text. Use Clear all to remove the current input and report.
Your workspace
Accounts, saved resumes, cover letters, applications, and uploaded images are stored by the app server. Guest work belongs to the current session. Create an account to keep your work beyond that session.
Optional AI connections
AI features use the provider connection you configure. When you request an AI feature, relevant content is sent to that provider. Review the connection and the information requested before continuing.
Sharing and downloads
Your resumes remain private until you choose to share them. You can manage public links, passwords, and visibility from Share. Downloaded files are under your control.
Managing your data
Use your account settings to manage your profile or delete your account. Use document controls to remove saved work you no longer need.
